Seeing as I was tagged by two, I will provide 12 things about me.  I will not send to 12 others, though...  Sorry :)

"Each player of this game starts with 6 weird things about you. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 6 weird things as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave a comment that says you are tagged in their comments and tell them to read your blog".

Here goes:

1)  Favorite band:  Aerosmith
2)  Favorite sport:  soccer
3) Favorite vacation spot: tough one, there are 3, actually-- Ocean Isle Beach, NC, Park City, UT, and Paris, France
4)  Sandra is taller than me (I'm a shorter one, 5/6-5/7)
5)  I'm a runner and ran the Marine Corps Marathon in '05 (trained for but did not run due to birth of 2nd son in '06)
6)  Spent about 7 years as a kid living in Raleigh, NC, though was born in and moved back to Chesterfield, MO, outside of St. Louis (Go Cards!)    .
7)  Went to college in Indiana
8)  Did an internship on the Hill.
9) I go to a "mega" church
10)  I've got two older sisters and a younger brother
11)  I like to create.  Art, carpentry, cabinetry, even just picked up wood burning a bit.  The last may be a bit hokey, but surprisingly fun.
12)  Favorite Beer: Duvel or anything Belgian, wine: a good Chablis (hard to find these days, but a sentimental favorite nonetheless), favortie drink: simple gin and tonic, though a good combo is also Amaretto and Coke.

And that, my friends, is 12 things about me you probably didn't know before hand.

Now I have to figure out who to tag-- OK, it seems all have been tagged whom I would tag.  So, I'll add two more things:

13:  I have to take a shower each morning or I am a grouch the rest of the day.  Not a good thing to miss.
14:  I don't like the number 13, so I needed a number 14.

Tony Dungy and Lovie Smith

Wow.  What a comment by Dungy after winning the Super Bowl.  After answering how happy he was to be the first black coach to win, he said he was happier that he and Lovie were two Christians who got there by doing it the right way.

Sure, some will dismiss the comment as any other, but Dungy means it.  He truly is a great example.

Thank you, Tony, for your honesty.
